The PMD-2000 turning center features a unique parallel spindle configuration to increase loading and unloading efficiency of parts up to 5.75" in diameter. The Fuji design simplifies chip evacuation and greatly reduces the machine’s overall footprint.The PMD-20 features a divided base which isolates vibrations from spindle to spindle and totally eliminates witness lines. This allows it to provide a true twin spindle advantage, roughing on one spindle and finishing on the other SIMULTANEOUSLY.

Fuji’s built-in three axis gantry robot and NEW FCS-5 robotic PLC deliver a 24 second complete cycle time including loading, transferring and unloading. When equipped with an optional second gantry robot, the cycle time can be cut to a mere 12.5 seconds.
